I did not use the methods described on Mr. Nascar's site but decided to use the kit rear spoiler and sheet stock (Glued on the front of the kit spoiler) and sheet stock for the roof deflector as well (The support brackets are fully functional as they hold each half of the deflector on the roof!) My reasons for not using Les and Jodie's methods are as follows:

1) Not enough guts!!!
2) Not enough patience!!!
3) No dremmel tool!

They aren't perfect (The rear of the rear spoiler is a bit rough but not enough to hurt unless you get within a couple inches of it!) but they are as far as I am willing (able???) to go!

Here is the Oreo body with the black painted!

I masked it and left the white primer showing for the white areas which will be painted next.

I painted the gloss white around the bottom, along with the skirts and front airdam extension in flat black. I then proceeded to put the decals on, what wasn't on the 3Amigos sheet I took from the 2000 #3 kit sheet.

<<<This is a detail shot of the nose which shows the grilles. I applied the upper grille decal from the kit sheet and then applied black "tape" to the ends. I also cut out "tape" for the lower grille. "tape" refers to black decal stock I used as grille tape. I also cut a strip and 2 little x's out of an old #28 hood decal to simulate the red tape on the grilles used to remove the tape from the grilles on the real car!
